Do you know when to use MUCH and when to use MANY?
Before you play the game, remember!
1. We use many for things we can count (1, 2, 3 ) – 1 banana, 2 cars, 3 boys. When we add an “s” for plural (houses, horses, toys), these are countable, and we use MANY (many houses, many trees, many horses)
2. We use much for things we cannot count – tea, sugar, rice. We do not say 2 teas (but 2 cups of tea). We do not say 3 sugars (but 3 spoons of sugar). When we do not add “s” for plural, these things are uncountable, so we use MUCH.
